I obviously ventured out when in Torquay, however as I have family down there they know the decent areas which aren't "touristy".

Depends where you go, Goose son. Knowledge is key, obviously.

If you mean a 'cut above' as in you have a larger head, then yes.
On all other measures, clearly not.

goose, there you go. That's what I was referencing to when staying in resorts.
Divros, I don't think I'm a cut above them, I however do not wish to mix with them. Massive difference.
You, however I'm 100% a cut above.

You dont think you're a cut above everyone, but will only stay in all inclusive resorts, and in the UK will only go to 'non touristy' places to avoid, as you call them, "chav cunts"?

The most remarkable thing in this discussion by far is that BOLTY of all people seems to think that he's a cut above!

Abroad, when I've gone to places like Tunisia, Turkey ansd Northern Cyprus I've stayed on the resorts.
When visiting the likes of BALI, Australia, America I obviously venture out to take in the CULTURE.

Been Newquay plenty of times... love the place... couple of MATES surf stag trips been superb fun but also quite/chilled family times as well... the surf scene is great and always a chilled vibe when the championships are on down there... if you want it a bit more chilled get an appartment on the pentire side of Fistral... some stunning views and also within walking distance of one of the best boozers you will ever visit in your life...

I can understand (to an extent) all inclusive in the likes of Egypt or Cuba.
Imagine going to Torquay and being scared of leaving the 'resort'?

Re: Newquay

I went there when it was being branded as England’s answer to Ibiza (LOL).
It was absolute fucking hell on earth but had a good laugh none the less.
I remember the high street being awash with vomit and pissed up 16 year old Geordies.
Has it changed then?
